Gorgeous hotel with fabulous food and magnificent location just off on a cute square, and the attractions. Silent and decent sized room available with all the comforts, the king bed and 2 windows. Excellent service from the superbly friendly, pleasant staff members. Really great stay, as always...

This hotel is brand new. And that means everything is very nice and clean, everything works and the hotel staff is very eager to help you. We were positively surprised with the quality of the room which I think is much better than the average 3 star hotel. The hotel manager is pleasant and talkative and suggested brilliant restaurants and cafés. Location near Pantheon in the heart of Rome hardly comes better. Hopefully the hotel can live up to this great start for long time.
There is not yet breakfast included, but the breakfast room is ready and they are looking for a decent quality breakfast service. The cafés around the hotel offer italian breakfast, caffé latte and croissant for a few €.

The hotel offers a great value compared to other trendy boutique hotels. the location is unbeatable, situated in a perfect area. I appreciated being able to grab coffee at Costa Coffee, just a 15-minute walk away.

Very comfortable bed,Real feather pillows!! Good windows-kept out the noise of the piazza. AC quiet. Increadible location-just a few steps from the Pantheon, Very nice decor-bequtiful satiny walls. Large and well equiped bathroom. Helpful staff.
Shower leaked. Its not really a suite-other rooms 'share' the suite area which included a small couch and bureau. I feet that the picture of the room, which included the couch, was misleading.

The location is stunning for lovers of old Rome. The owner Francesco is an absolute delight. Helpful without being obtrusive, and a genuinely nice person. The rooms are a tasteful comfortable blend of old features with new design and colours.

Relais Maddalena is an excellent boutigue hotel right in the center of old Rome which has just opened. The owner has paid an utmost attention to every small detail, filling the spacious rooms with designer furniture and expensive appliances. Everything about this small hotel looks immaculate and its location right next to the Pantheon is simply perfect, the best you can find in the city.

The Relais is situated inside a 200 year old building (on the 1st floor) in excellent location right on the picturesque Piazza de la Maddalena just a few steps from basic sites such as Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and only a few minutes from Fontana di Trevi. All the suites of the Relais where very new and modern. The Junior Suite we booked was also new, beautiful , spacious, modern, very well decorated. Comfortable bed, air-condition worked just fine. The bathroom was also new, modern and clean. The view from the suite was beautiful on the piazza (a little noisy when window was open but closing the window noise just “disappears”). At the time we where there (21 – 24 /5/2010) the Relais wasn’t ready to provide breakfast so we can’t say anything about it. There are plenty of café’s and restaurants near so coffee and food is quite easy to find. The manager, Francesco, was very polite and helpful. He provide us we all the information we needed. Cleaning service was also fine. I would definitely suggest the Relais for anyone who likes a clean, comfort, modern stay very near the most beautiful sites of Rome.
I think providing breakfast will make it a better choice for family travellers.

What a wonderful location from which to experience Baroque Rome. Steps from the Pantheon, and in easy walking distance to everything you need to see. Francesco is a terrific host, the room is beautiful, comfortable, and ours had two large windows overlooking the Piazza Maddalena and it's cafes and church. Breakfast is a great addition with fabulous cappuccino. We'd come back for sure!
